I celebrated my ????? birthday at the lake with my family. Mr. Ritchie actually threw me off of the tube twice! Of course I had strawberry cake and strawberry marshmallows over the fire! I hope you are doing well! I got a fun card from Carter wondering how old I am now! Interesting question isn’t it? Much love to you my little darlings!!!!

How many of you are playing?  Caleb has been playing lots and guess what?  I have been going to remind him that he is the cutest one on the team!  It’s been hot!  I think someone forgot to turn on the air conditioning!  Miss you!

Sorry I haven’t posted anything until now.  I’ve been getting some fun letters and yesterday I got a call from Reveca.  I hope you are all doing well.   I miss seeing your smiling faces every day, but hopefully I will see some of you before summer is over!  I was sick right after school was out until now, I’ve had company, played in the garden, and I’ve spent a lot of time reading.  How about you? 

Yesterday I picked lettuce in my garden, before I did I saw a rabbit rolling around and running back and forth.  Very FUNNY!!! Also, one morning I looked out the window and saw a baby deer running around in my backyard, eating out of the garden feeling free! 

I hope to hear from more of you this summer!  I’ll try to post more often!  LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

We had a great trip last week to Silver Dollar City! We rode rides, ate lunch together, and walked A LOT!!!! What was your favorite part of the day?

This week Mrs. Doherty brought some cool things to share with us and we learned a lot about her from her power point. We were fascinated by the places she has traveled to and the places she would like to visit too. We learned a little about Mr. Doherty and we even saw a wedding picture. We also liked the pictures of her family. Mrs. Doherty can play many instruments and we learned that she is learning to play the guitar. It’s never too late to learn something new is it? Our class thinks she is kind, sweet, and we love having her as our music teacher. We like the music she picked out for our program and we love to play instruments and dance too! Thank you so much for taking time out to share with us!

We learned this week about some more of Mrs. Matzat’s hobbies and favorites. She loves to backpack, hike, camp, and sew. She makes cool bags and of course, her favorite color is pink! We saw pictures of her husband and her son, but we loved the pictures of her dogs too! Mrs. Matzat has a blog where she shares recipes and meals. She loves to cook and she loves being around us (we can tell). We already knew that she loves books and we do too! Thanks Mrs. Matzat for picking out cool books for our library and for bringing such cool writers to talk to us!
